At the cosmetic surgery practice of Dr. John T. Cozzone, we want you to feel comfortable from your first phone call through your last post-operative visit. Our team of highly trained and caring professionals includes resident surgeon Dr. John T. Cozzone, office manager Janie Meyer and receptionist Barbara Schoenig.

Janie Meyer
With more than two decades of expertise in the medical field, Janie serves as Dr. Cozzone’s Office Manager. She is responsible for scheduling surgeries, helping patients understand the surgical procedure they have selected as well as the necessary follow-up care; and assisting Dr. Cozzone with patient follow-ups. Janie attended Bergen Pines School of Nursing and has been with Dr. Cozzone for more than 10 years. Her friendly, compassionate demeanor and sense of humor effectively calms patient anxiety and aids in recovery. “Our team here has a chemistry that you just won’t find anywhere else,” explains Janie. “We always seek to establish a high level of trust and comfort. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen a patient come into a consultation with a look of fear on her/his face, leave with a smile and a surgery date. I think that chemistry is what draws so many patients to Dr. Cozzone.”

Barbara Schoenig
After serving for more than 25 years as an Administrative Assistant in Corporate America, Barbara joined Dr. Cozzone’s staff as office receptionist. She is responsible for scheduling consultations, greeting patients, ensuring HIPPA compliance and handling billing/insurance issues. Barbara’s charming personality and warm, friendly smile easily breaks the ice as new patients enter our office for the first time. “When I first met the team at Dr. Cozzone’s office, I was immediately drawn to their personalities,” explains Barbara. “Dr. Cozzone and Janie complement each other perfectly and were quick to welcome me into their family. It’s that level of care that is also transferred to our patients. We treat each patient as though s/he were a member of our own family.”

Procedures are performed in the newly renovated 7,800 square-foot Saddle River Valley Surgical Center. Conveniently located just steps from our office suite inside the Bergen Medical Center, the center is a certified surgical center and includes 4 pre-op rooms; a surgical suite with state-of-the-art medical tools and equipment as well as advanced lighting and ventilation systems; and 5 recovery rooms. A staff of some of the area’s most skilled and caring registered nurses provide surgical and recovery assistance.
