Breast
Reduction
Patients
with excessively large breasts often experience self-esteem issues
and discomfort in selecting clothing. Additionally, they may experience
chronic neck, back and shoulder pain as well as breast sagging.
A breast reduction is a surgical procedure that reduces and reshapes
the breasts to appear more in natural proportion to the patient’s
body.
Patients are typically discharged one hour after surgery. Normal
activities, with the exception of heavy lifting and exercise of
the upper body, can typically resume within a week after surgery.
