Breast
Lift
Over
time, age, pregnancy, nursing and gravity can cause women’s
breasts to lose their shape and firmness. As the skin begins to
lose its elasticity, the breasts begin to sag. A breast lift is
a surgical procedure that raises and reshapes the breasts.
Patients are usually discharged one hour after surgery and are typically
uncomfortable for a few days. Normal activities can resume within
two weeks. Some scarring may result from the procedure and is highly
dependent upon the amount of skin removed and how high the nipple
must be raised.
