Brow Lift

Brow lift surgery is designed to correct signs of aging in the upper portions of the face. This procedure is often combined with eyelid surgery to fully rejuvenate a person’s appearance.

How to know if a brow lift is right for you

Over time, a person's eyebrows can gradually descend and lose their arch. Other signs of aging may appear such as the following:

  • Forehead lines
  • Crow's feet
  • Furrows on the nose
  • Low brow

As a result of these issues, your appearance might be characterized as tired or unhappy. In such cases, brow lift surgery can smooth out these imperfections and rejuvenate the upper third of the face and forehead.

How brow lift surgery is performed

Therer are several techniques that can be utilized in brow lift surgery.  The coronal lift, pretrichial lift or internal browlift are options, but the most common technique is probably the endoscopic browlift.

Four small incisions are made behind the hairline so your plastic surgeon can gently lift the tissues of the face and restore the proper arch of the eyebrows. Dr. Cozzone will use a surgical endoscope, a tool used for minimally invasive surgery that allows easy viewing of the underlying tissues.
